3 Questions, 1 Card

Q1: Staying in Seoul the whole trip? No → T-money (₩3,000). Works everywhere in Korea — subway, bus, taxi, convenience stores.

Q2: Riding 3+ times a day? Yes → Climate Card. ₩5,000/day up to ₩20,000/week. Unlimited subway, bus, and Ttareungi bikes.

Q3: Hate carrying cash? Yes → WOWPASS. Currency exchange + shopping + transit in one card. But read the traps first.

5 Traps Nobody Warns You About

Trap 1: Climate Card can’t board at Incheon Airport. Your first ride is the one ride it won’t cover.

Trap 2: WOWPASS has two separate wallets. Exchanged money goes to Pay balance — transit balance stays at ₩0.

Trap 3: Apple Pay T-Money needs a Korean bank card to top up. For tourists, it’s just an icon.

Trap 4: Leave Seoul with Climate Card and the entire fare gets recalculated from scratch.

Trap 5: Google Maps doesn’t do directions in Korea. Download Naver Map.
