Silla-era temple (founded ~485 AD) in the Palgongsan mountains, part of the Donghwasa head temple district. The name means 'North Jijang Temple' — there's a matching 'South Jijangsa' on the other side of Palgongsan. Twin stone pagodas from the Goryeo era stand in the courtyard. An old willow tree leans over a small pond. The pine forest trail leading to the temple is the endpoint of Daegu Olle Palgongsan Course 1.
- Walk from Daegu Bangja Utensil Museum — the pine forest trail takes 30 minutes and is flat.
- Best in autumn when ginkgo and maple trees turn. The contrast with the stone pagodas makes good photos.
