Daecheon Beach is the premier west coast beach in Boryeong, Chungcheongnam-do, stretching 3.5km with a gently sloping sandy shore. It is internationally renowned as the venue for the annual Boryeong Mud Festival held every July, attracting millions of visitors for its unique mud-based activities. The beach is also a popular spot for watching sunsets over the Yellow Sea.
