About
Fukuoka Castle Ruins (Maizuru Park) are the remains of a castle built by Kuroda Nagamasa starting in 1601. Today, the impressive stone walls and turrets remain, and the site is famous for cherry blossoms with about 1,000 trees blooming each spring.
