A 2.86 km coastal cliff trail carved along 2.5-million-year-old sea terraces — the only one in Korea. Designated Natural Monument No. 437, the path runs between crashing waves and cliffside pine forests near Jeongdongjin.

Guide
Waves crash against the cliff on one side. Pine wind brushes through on the other. Badabuchae Trail is the 2.86 kilometers between those two sounds, carved along sea terraces formed by tectonic shifts roughly 2.5 million years ago. Designated Natural Monument No. 437, the narrow path sits atop sheer coastal cliffs — white surf below, leaning pines overhead. The walk empties your head. The roar of the waves erases everything else. Nowhere else in Korea can you walk this close to the edge of a sea cliff for this long. The trail is one-way, about an hour on foot, and a shuttle bus returns you from the far end. Start early in the morning for fewer crowds and better light.
