Homigot is the easternmost point of the Korean Peninsula, located at what represents the tail of the tiger on Korea's map. The iconic Hands of Harmony sculpture was installed in 1999 to welcome the new millennium, and the site is famous for its January 1st sunrise ceremony.
- About 1.5 hours by bus from Pohang bus terminal.
- Traffic is very heavy during the January 1st sunrise festival.
- Visit the nearby National Lighthouse Museum (free).
- Enjoy East Sea views from the coastal walking trail.
