Kintaikyo Bridge is a historic wooden arch bridge spanning the Nishiki River in Iwakuni, Yamaguchi Prefecture, built in 1673 under feudal lord Kikkawa Hiroyoshi. Its five sweeping wooden arches — stretching 193.3 meters and held together entirely without nails — rank it among Japan's three most celebrated bridges. Around 3,000 cherry trees bloom along the riverbanks in spring, and the bridge is illuminated beautifully at night year-round.

- The crossing fee is ¥300 one-way or ¥500 return; the bridge is open 24 hours and illuminated at night.
