The Meguro Parasitological Museum is the world's only museum dedicated entirely to parasitology, founded in 1953 by Dr. Satoru Kamegai in Tokyo's Meguro Ward. The collection includes 60,000 parasite specimens and 50,000 academic papers, with the star exhibit being an 8.8-meter tapeworm removed from a human patient. Admission is free, and the second floor gift shop sells unusual souvenirs including acrylic straps with real parasites embedded inside.
