The Meguro River is a roughly 4-kilometer promenade through Nakameguro in Tokyo, lined with approximately 800 cherry trees that make it one of the city's most celebrated sakura viewing spots. During the late March to early April bloom season, the riverbanks are lit with pink lanterns from around 5pm to 8pm, creating a romantic evening atmosphere. The surrounding area is packed with stylish cafés, boutique shops, and restaurants, making it ideal for a leisurely stroll.

- Nakameguro Station is the closest stop but the most crowded — start from Meguro Station for a quieter experience.

- Evening illuminations run from around 5pm to 8pm during peak bloom.
