Nokonoshima Island Park is a flower garden and leisure park at the northern tip of Nokonoshima Island in Fukuoka, offering year-round seasonal blooms and activities. Spring brings rapeseed flowers and cherry blossoms, summer features sunflowers and scarlet sage, autumn sees around 30,000 cosmos and approximately 300,000 dahlias, and winter is lit by some 500,000 daffodils. The park also offers pottery wheel workshops, an adventure park, a mini zoo, a grass sledding slope, and barbecue facilities, making it a well-rounded family destination.
- From the ferry terminal on Nokonoshima Island, take the local bus for about 10 minutes to the park.
- Admission is approximately 1,000 yen for adults and may vary depending on the season and bloom status.
- The best time to visit is autumn (October to November) when cosmos and dahlias bloom simultaneously.
- Workshops such as pottery have limited capacity — it is advisable to reserve in advance.
