Japan's largest museum, located in Naruto, Tokushima, reproducing over 1,000 Western masterpieces — from the Sistine Chapel ceiling to Monet and Picasso — at full scale on ceramic boards. The ceramic transfer technique preserves colors for over 2,000 years, and photography is permitted throughout.
- The total walking distance is about 4 km — wear comfortable shoes and plan for a full day.
- Adult admission is ¥3,300 (¥3,160 with advance tickets from Lawson or 7-Eleven). Pricey but worth a full-day visit.
- Take a city bus from Naruto Station (about 20 min, ¥350). Combine with the nearby Naruto whirlpools.
