Buy seafood in the market and pay a cutting fee (5,000 won) at nearby restaurants to eat it fresh. The adjacent Sorae Ecology Park has salt flats and a wetland trail.

- Take Subway Line 4 to Soraepogu Station (exit 3). The market is a 5-minute walk.
- September-October is peak shrimp season. Dried shrimp bundles make good souvenirs. Haggle — prices drop near closing time.
- Sorae Ecology Park next door has a wooden boardwalk through reed fields and old salt flats. Free entry, 30-minute loop.
