Suzuka Circuit in Mie Prefecture is Japan's legendary F1 Grand Prix venue, renowned for its unique figure-eight crossover layout. Outside of race season, visitors can ride two-seater electric go-karts on the actual track, explore the Motopia amusement park, and experience live motorsport culture up close.
- From Nagoya Station, take the Kintetsu Limited Express (~40 min) to Shiroko Station, then a bus (20 min) or taxi (15 min).
- The F1 Japanese Grand Prix is held each spring (around April). Book Nagoya accommodation months in advance.
- The Circuit Challenger electric go-kart is open to drivers 13+ and allows passengers from age 2.
- Wear comfortable walking shoes — the grounds are vast. Bring both cash and cards, as some vendors are cash-only.
