The Kochi Prefectural Sakamoto Ryoma Memorial Museum sits on a hill above Katsurahama Park overlooking the Pacific Ocean, housing Japan's largest collection of Ryoma's personal letters. Completely renovated in 2018, it features interactive exhibits, a reconstructed model of the inn where Ryoma was assassinated, and a life-size Ryoma statue.

Tips
- From Kochi Station, take the Tosaden Kotsu Bus bound for Katsurahama (~34 min) and alight at Ryoma Kinenkan Mae.
- Admission: ¥900 during special exhibitions, ¥500 between exhibitions. Free for high school students and younger.
- The life-size Ryoma statue near the exit is a popular photo spot — shake his hand for the classic shot.
- Combine with Katsurahama Beach, the Katsurahama Aquarium, and Harimayabashi for a half-day Kochi circuit.
