UNESCO World Heritage 'Temple of the Buddha' - one of Korea's Three Jewel Temples. Uniquely has no Buddha statue because it houses actual sarira (relics) of the Buddha. The largest temple complex in Korea with stunning pine tree path.
- Walk the pine tree path to the temple - it's beautiful.
- No Buddha statue in the main hall (look for the Diamond Precept Platform instead).
- Temple stay programs available.
- Combine with nearby Sinbulmountain.
