Waon Beach

Tucked inside Suncheon Bay, this is less a swimming beach and more a sunset stage. At low tide, an S-shaped tidal channel snakes across the mudflat toward a lone pine-covered islet, and the setting sun drops precisely behind it — one of the most photographed sunset spots in southern Korea.
