A 5km valley running north from Gayasan, the highest peak in western Chungnam. Dense forest, clean water, and quiet — a summer escape for families. Nearby are Bowonsa Temple ruins with a stone pagoda and the Seosan Maae Triad Buddha (rock-carved Buddhas from the Baekje era, National Treasure).

Tips
- Best in summer for valley wading. Water is shallow enough for kids. Bring water shoes.
- Don't miss the Seosan Maae Buddha (국보 84호) — 10 minutes by car. The smile on the central Buddha changes with sunlight angle.
