Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival
1,886 cherry trees along 1.7km of Yeouiseo-ro (Yunjung-ro). Festival runs Apr 3-7, free entry. Traffic control Apr 1 12:00 – Apr 8 14:00. Take Line 5 to Yeouinaru Station. The tunnel is most photogenic at golden hour. Weekday mornings before 9AM have almost no crowds.
Seokchon Lake Cherry Blossom Festival
2.5km loop around the lake with 1,100 cherry trees. Festival runs Apr 3-11 (9 days). Lotte World Tower as backdrop makes this Instagram gold. Night views with the castle lights are unreal. Already blooming — opened 5 days earlier than last year. Jamsil Station Exit 2, 5-minute walk.
Timing Tips
Blooming earlier than usual this year due to warm weather. Peak bloom window is short — go now before petals start falling. Go the morning after rain for petal shower photos. Yeouido gets packed on weekends — aim for weekday mornings or after sunset. Seokchon Lake at night is less crowded and more photogenic.
