Junghwa-dong, Jungnang-gu, Seoul, South Korea
A 160m neighborhood hill in Jungnang-gu with a surprisingly wide summit view — Namsan, the Han River basin, Dobongsan. A restored Joseon-era beacon tower sits at the top. Officially one of Seoul's 16 designated sunrise spots.
- Summit in about 30 minutes. Mostly stairs but short enough that it is not strenuous. Sneakers work fine.
- The Bongwa Park (Mukdong) entrance is the most accessible.
