49 Naksan 4-gil, Jongno District, Seoul, South Korea
Tucked into alleys below Naksan Park, what stays with you isn't any single mural but the layered texture of old Korean houses, steep lanes, and unexpected painted walls. Real residents live here — some painted over murals themselves in 2016 to reclaim their neighborhood.
- Hyehwa Station (Line 4) Exit 2, then walk ~15 minutes. Subway recommended — narrow lanes, no real parking.
- Visit on a quiet weekday morning. Weekend afternoons get extremely crowded.
- The wings mural is directly adjacent to a private home — keep noise down.
