Isubong (545 m) is a prominent peak of Cheonggyesan Mountain, straddling Seongnam and Seoul's Seocho-gu. The ridge traverse from Maebong to Isubong to Guksabong covers roughly 13 km and takes around 5 hours. Easily accessible from southern Seoul, the mountain is a weekend favorite for its dense forest trails and open summit views.
- Bus connections run from Government Gwacheon Complex Station (Line 4) to the Sagimakgol trailhead. Beginners should try the Wonteogol trailhead to Maebong one-way route first. The final stretch to Isubong summit is the steepest — bring hiking poles.
