Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market is a local market in downtown Seogwipo, named after its connection to the famous Jeju Olle walking trails. It's the most practical place for a meal when traveling Jeju's south side — fresh seafood and Jeju specialties at local prices, not tourist markups. The market's fish stalls serve freshly caught sashimi at market prices, and there's plenty of street food: gimbap, tteokbokki, black pork, and more. Jeju tangerines and hallabong are significantly cheaper here than in Seoul — great for gifts. Dried fish and okdom (Jeju's prized red tilefish) are also popular buys.
