The flagship Lotte Department Store in Sogong-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, opened in December 1979 and a long-time leader in Korean retail. Directly connected to Euljiro Ipgu Station (Line 2), the complex comprises the main building, Avenuel (luxury wing), and Young Plaza. Lotte Duty Free occupies floors 9–12, and Lotte Cinema is in Avenuel.
- Bring your passport for the duty-free shop on floors 9–12. The underground passageway from Euljiro Ipgu Station makes access easy even in rain. The store is right next to Myeongdong Shopping Street — combine both for a half-day itinerary.
