In autumn (October), the entire mountainside explodes in red, orange, and gold — arguably the best fall foliage view in Korea. The 5-minute ride offers 360° views of inner Seoraksan and the East Sea.

Adult round trip ~13,000 KRW. Arrive by 8:30am opening to avoid 1-2 hour waits.
At the top, a 15-min hike to Gwongeumseong Fortress ruins gives even better panoramic views.
