Korea's first Western-style park, established in 1888 on Eungbongsan for foreigners after Incheon Port opened. It has undergone several name changes: Gakguk Park, Seogongwon (during Japanese colonial rule), Manguk Park (after liberation), and finally Jayu Park (Freedom Park) in 1957 after the Korean War. It houses the General MacArthur Statue.
